About

Nancy Baird, LAPC

Therapy often begins when something no longer feels fully manageable in the way it once did. For many people, this shows up as anxiety, emotional overwhelm, relationship patterns that repeat, or a subtle but persistent sense of disconnection from themselves.

My work focuses on helping clients understand and shift these experiences in a way that feels steady, grounded, and lasting.

I specialize in EMDR and integrative therapy, with an emphasis on both emotional processing and meaning-making. In addition to reducing distress, we explore the internal patterns and narratives that shape how you experience yourself and others.

I hold a Master of Professional Writing (MPW) from the University of Southern California and have a background in professional writing and narrative development. This informs my clinical work through a focus on language, identity, and how people make sense of their lived experience over time.

For many clients, therapy becomes a space not only for relief, but for clarity, integration, and a more coherent sense of self.

Fees & Insurance

Out-of-network provider

I am an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly. This allows therapy to remain flexible, individualized, and guided by clinical needs rather than insurance requirements.

I can provide documentation for clients who wish to seek reimbursement through their insurance provider for eligible out-of-network benefits.
